The Care Training Code 2001

You may have been asked by your inspector to ensure that your training provider is "accredited". Incare Services adopts the principles outlined within the "Care Training Code" 2001. Aware that, as your provider, you may require a statement during periods of inspection, we have prepared one for you which you may download here.
Should you require further evidence a detailed breakdown of suitability of accreditation is availed on request. Please click here to request this form.

Introduction

Learning and development has always been considered the key factor in patient care because it nurtures skills, encourages reflection of service delivery which in turn improves staff morale. With staff the main resource in care, training is a key investment. Then there are demands from Insurance companies and of course inspection standards and requirements. The legislation today ensures that employers and their care managers are responsible in providing a safe working environment for their staff.

As an independent organisation with an impressive record, we aim for the highest standards for your training. Our programs are designed to provide you with professional support in all aspects of care training. For the core of your team, we focus mainly on “In the workplace” training. Our trainers come to you, ensuring either the workplace or your preferred training venue is perceived as a place to learn and reflect current practice. The training is very specific to your own situation, giving your staff the confidence that the training is relevant to their daily routine. All you need is a quiet, undisturbed area in which to meet to carry out the training.

For your protection, records are kept for 7 years of all your courses and the staff who have attended. You may, at any stage, contact us for duplicate certificates or other evidence that may be required. Audits are offered should you wish to monitor the progress of your staff. This type of training is very cost effective as you pay for the cost of the course, not per candidate. Prices in this brochure include certificates and all course materials, tutors fees and expenses within West Sussex.

As agency care managers often require specific training, not relevant to the core of the team, INCARE Services offers a full program of open training in a range of management topics. Details of the current terms program are available by request.
