The Skills for Care induction standards require that induction training is carried out by an accredited trainer within 12 weeks of new employment. Logistically, this can be quite a challenge, therefore we have been working very hard behind the scenes for you looking for cost effective solutions to complying with the induction standards.

We are now able to offer 3 different options to this problem.

Option 1 - Work based study books.
Induction areas are completed with work based study using candidate workbooks and a manager's pack. Suitable for people who have already carried out the statutory training with other providers. Evidence is collated in these professional workbooks (supplied as PDF files on disc). Requires supervisor intervention and on-site qualified trainers. Up to 40 licences and a managers guide (required once only) costs £200, or just £5 per candidate!

Option 2 - Work based study books and all of area 3 carried out by Incare on site.
The induction course IND01 is accredited with the ODLQC. Workbooks provided by Incare with the following courses held on site to you. Manual handling, First aid, food hygiene, Health and workplace safety, Fire safety, Infection control. Suitable for statutory training for 12 staff, and induction for 10. Courses are run every 12 weeks (ie 4 times per year) to ensure a good turnout and to slot in to your existing statutory requirements. Payments are made monthly for 12 months. In short, if you are a provider who will recruit approximately 48 staff a year, you can comply with the induction standards and statutory requirements completely and professionally for just £260 per month!

Option 3 - Work based study books and your selection of Induction Units carried out by Incare on site.
Workbooks provided by Incare, you choose the courses to cover the Induction Units you require, training is held on site to you. Prices dependent on your choice, requires minimum 15 hours training. Payments are made monthly.
