morale. With staff the main resource in care, and often lone working, training
is a key investment. Then there are demands from Insurance companies and of
course inspection standards and requirements. The Crossroads policy and procedure
documents ensure that, with sufficient training, employers and their care team
are responsible in providing safe working systems for both their staff and their
clients.
As an independent organisation with an impressive record, we aim for the highest
standards for your training. Our programs are designed to provide you with professional
support in all aspects of care training. For the core of your team, we focus
mainly on “group” training. As you pay for the cost of the courses only, not
per candidate, the training represents excellent value. The training itself
is very specific to your own situation, working closely to all Crossroads policies,
giving your staff the confidence that the training is relevant to their daily
routine. With separate agendas for induction, refresher and supervisor training,
the training should always be appropriate.
For your protection, records are kept for 7 years of all your courses and the
staff who have attended. You may, at any stage, contact us for duplicate certificates
or other evidence that may be required without charge. Audits are offered should
you wish to monitor the progress of your staff. A local share scheme is operated
to assist schemes to “tag in” to each others training. Prices in this brochure
include certificates and all course materials, tutors fees and expenses within
West Sussex. Outside of West Sussex, expenses are agreed by arrangement.
As scheme managers often require specific training, not relevant to the core
of the team, INCARE Services offers a full program of open training in a range
of management topics. These courses are specifically for supervisors and can
be arranged at divisional level. Details of the current terms program are available
by request.
