Because supervisors often require individual training specific to their needs,
INCARE Services offers a range of courses held at venues across the South. These
courses range from one day to five days, and encompass a range of topics from
manual handling, risk assessment and management skills to interview, recruitment
and marketing skills. For details, call us and we will arrange these courses
at a divisional level on your behalf. Many courses follow the national guidelines
of content.
Training information link
This is a new service designed by INCARE SERVICES to ensure that communication
between schemes is focused, centralised and effective. The training resource
link is a web page that can be accessed and updated regularly and contains data
regarding Crossroads training in your area, plus other important and relative
information such as croquet, funding news and links, with a message board for
staff who wish to contact others. For those who do not have an online connection,
the data can be faxed or posted.

Compatibility of courses with other qualifications
The evidence associated with training courses supplied by INCARE Services can
be used towards your Post Registration education and Practice (PREP) or National
Vocational qualifications. These courses also provide underpinning knowledge
for the Skills for Care induction framework. Details such as elements covered
are normally supplied within a specific course program. For more information,

Funding help
There are a number of schemes available at any one time that may be tapped into
for funding training. It helps to have a little knowledge to give you a head
start. INCARE Services will be able to advise you as to possible routes to assist
you in the funding process.
